Earrings!

I've been busy putting up earring listings today! I finally got more ear wires and now I am trying to catch up with some of the earrings have been making.

Here are a few highlights:

Supplies

I'm determined to clear out some of my beads. I have had some of my old African trade beads for over 20 years now. Granted now I'm designing jewelery again, but I have plenty to go around.

I spent all day yesterday taking pictures and putting up beads. Over 10 listings went up.

I have also been working on figuring out all the different ways to promote my shop. And I get the feel, that will be the hardest part for me, since I'm not a very social person, lol. But yeah, here I go!

Hemp

So I have decided to extend my beading into hemp jewelery. I have so many beautiful beads that just call out to be used with hemp.

I already had some red hemp cord at home, which led me to create my first design yesterday.




And I just added my second African Sunset necklace to my shop. I'm just in love with these gorgeous lampwork glass beads. Just my style, red tones, that go beautiful with my beloved wooden beads.

My first post

I'm exited to start blogging, jotting ideas down and whatever else comes to mind. I've started working on my Etsy store on March 29th, and had two sales so far. One came from a dear friend of mine, so I guess just one sale to really count. Both were custom orders.

I do realize I have a different blog name, then Etsy store name. Primal Instincts was already taken. :(

I have 41 items for sale so far and my goal is to list at least one a day, which is working out well. I haven't done much in regards to promoting my shop, I've primarily focused on getting product into my store and trying to figure out the direction my jewelery is pulling me. I've decided on a name and I am just now starting to look into different advertising tactics.

I have joined a few teams and still looking for more.
